Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using TroopMuster ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

TroopMuster provides a web-based platform for managing volunteers, shifts, and events. The Service is provided by CAP Creative Solutions.

3. Accounts and Organizations

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be 18 or older to create an account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Upload or transmit malicious code or spam.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
Resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent.
Use the SMS or email features to send unsolicited messages outside the platform's intended volunteer coordination purpose.

5. Volunteer Data

You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from volunteers whose data you enter into the platform, in accordance with applicable privacy laws. You own your data; we process it on your behalf.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; your access continues through the end of the paid period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

7. Free Tier

A free tier is available with limited features. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free tier with 30 days notice.

8. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime or data loss beyond our reasonable control.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 90 days.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CAP Creative Solutions shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email.
